General strike in Brussels on 26 November 2025

On 26 November 2025, the day of the national strike in Belgium, anti-speciesism stood alongside workers who were despised, in precarious employment and exploited. Anti-speciesism is a struggle for social liberation. Deeply political and intersectional, it opposes all forms of exploitation and discrimination.

Its challenge: to promote an understanding of non-human animals as full persons, the culmination of capitalism’s logic of exploitation 💀

Our aim: to encourage future generations of intersectional activists to become anti-speciesist, and future generations of anti-speciesist activists to become intersectional ✊🏻

They will then succeed, following in our footsteps: some in elevating non-human animals to the status of non-human persons, others in identifying the logic of animalisation that underpins exploitation. We will all march together against the violence of the capitalist economy 🔥

The L.I.A. is pursuing this fundamental challenge of creating a principled left-wing political front, rooted in deep ecology and inclusive intersectionalism, serving all conscious/sentient beings 💚

To this end, we will always stand in solidarity with liberation struggles. Together, let’s resist! Let’s rally together, let’s become politically active. Together, we can change the world. Break free from your isolation, your defeatism, your fatalism – put yourselves at the service of the collective! 💥

The coming generations are ready; the time is ripe: anti-speciesism will unite the animalised people of this world 🙌🏻🔥
