In your role as coordinator for the convergence of intersectional struggles, you will :

1. 1.  Carry out the tasks assigned to supporters, activists and associate members of our association ;
   2.   Fully understand and have a thorough grasp of our association’s objectives and philosophy ;
   3.   Identify and attend meetings of the various intersectional associations active in Belgium (anti-capitalist, Commune Colère, anti-fascist, etc.) ;
   4.   Represent our association at their general meetings ;
   5.   Forge positive and constructive relationships with the leaders of these associations ;
   6.   Propose to them that they host the LIA for themed evenings exploring the links between anti-speciesism and other struggles for social liberation ;
   7.   Join the private management group ‘Kern LIA’;

This role requires : 

• • Sufficient knowledge of the various intersectional associations active in Belgium ;
  • A strong political awareness ;
  • A desire to forge connections with a view to building a common political front against oppression ;
  • An awareness of the importance of your role in promoting political anti-speciesism within intersectional organisations ;
  • Keeping Elaine and Alain regularly updated on the progress of your initiatives ;
  • Residing in Brussels.
